(by reverse analogy/implication from "killing all Palestinians") work it's way into a discussion of "forced to live in equality" and an angry diatribe about one Israeli activist's solidarity with Arab democratization?

    Violence on a mass scale?

Other than that, WTF are you talking about?

    Bizarre.  I'm out.

    •  WHOOSH... What was that.. you missing the point? (0+ / 0-)

the point was that calling for revenge in any case and policy based on revenge is anything but a progressive value. Railing against "collective punishment" for group A and then saying "Well, but I support collective punishment for group B" makes one: A) anti-Progressive and B) a raving hypocrite.

What you are saying Abu Khalil is not that - well how about we read his own words:

After we liberate Palestine, and when you are forced to live in a system based on equality (after we subject you to the same military rule that you imposed on the Arabs inside Israel), you may engage in solidarity but even then it won't be wanted.

I highlighted the point just so that you can see what is being referred to - that doesn't sound very progressive does it. In fact. it sounds like something from the National Union or the Kahanists (just reverse the sides).

I love the "After we liberate Palestine" part too.... All the way from CSU Stanislaus and Berkeley. Heh.....
