    ...because it doesn't have anything to do with fixing the economy directly.

    The point of Campaign Finance though is it is central to everything is the root of the dysfunction we are seeing in our's inability to get hardly anything done, and the general consensus that it is not working for the majority of the People.

    All the other problems that we need to deal with can be traced back to the corrupting influence of special interest money in politics.

    So...people need to understand this first...that the problem isn't the banks, or the government, or the multinational's both all of them and none of them at the same time, for the problem is SYSTEMIC. So in order to create a last, long term solution, this needs to be dealt with first, otherwise we don't get to the root of the problem, and the same things will continue to happen.

    I don't think anyone is pretending we won't have some difficult choices or compromises to make, but first we need to frame the conversation around our common values and moral principles, and explain it in broad terms that people can understand...that way they are more likely to come on board with the specifics of what we end up proposing.

    99% isn't enough. We're all in this together.
