  •  My two cents (0+ / 0-)

I would rather that Occupy have a laser focus: Less corruption and more opportunity for actual people as opposed to the constructs recognized by our corrupt Supreme Court. Justice. Citizens getting a fair deal.

Getting sidetracked or diluting the message with wedge-issues or minutia is a recipe for failure. The tent needs to be gigantic in order to take concrete steps to effect real change in "the system."

99% of us want opportunity and justice. And 99% frown on corruption.

    •  True (0+ / 0-)

But one simple solution is to prioritize, and group the various issue ratjer than ignore the difficult or inconvenient elements.

      •  I'll buy that to a degree (0+ / 0-)

But then why even have an issue of lesser import as part of a list of demands at all?

I detest the current state of agriculture and animal husbandry as the next person but

#5 They have profited off of the torture, confinement, and cruel treatment of countless animals, and actively hide these practices.
thins too many potential supporters who might otherwise have helped stop the country from becoming a quasi-fascist nation run by the plutocracy because they don't want to be affiliated with "hippy-dippy tree-huggers."

End the wars and make sure to put the toilet seat down when you're done?

I think we need all hands on deck, demanding that the corruption ends - including many that I would rather not spend a moment of my time with if I had my druthers. Even Republicans.
