    thought the law was horrible to begin with, but most people in Alabama don't make the news - the stereotypical ones do. For instance, try telling anyone in this state that Harvey Updike is a typical UA fan and you might get killed by Auburn and Alabama fans alike. This law was oppposed by the Southern Poverty Law Center and decried all over the state before it was even passed. But the behind the scenes work had already been done.

    I'm suggesting that we need to look at the money behind the law. To continue down this path of acting as if it was something that the ignorant Alabama citizens supported is to fall for the trap.

    I think that the governor of Alabama is the one who fell for the trap first.  And he is living to regret it, believe me.

    I can do everything but earn a living.

      drawing up stupid teabagger laws need to do is add up all the costs of litigating the laws up to the Supreme Court.
      Because the cost to taxpayers will be staggering.
