I voted for Obama.  He's in waaay over his head.  We need a president that will stand up to the rule of law in this country.  We need a president that will defend the citizens of this country.  "Skerting but not breaking the law" should have dire consequences - not just let off the hook by another "my hands are tied."  He needs to go... and wake up the Attorney General and take him with you!

you want a president who will prosecute people despite the fact that they didn't actually break any laws? Huh?

I want a president that will actually investigate and prosecute those people that break the law.  To uphold the rule of law.

Not prosecute anyone who points out that there have been laws broken (whistleblowers).

On top of that, I do agree with some of what shypuffadder wrote.  I also want a president that doesn't reward bad actors, who they can't prove broke the law easily.  There is a difference between:
        A)  Not being able to quite prosecute someone, and letting their company fails/be taken over when they get in trouble.
        B) Not wanting to look into their crimes at all or investigate them, then give them unlimited loans, allow them to lie in accounting, protect from mark to market, and do not actually put or enforce regulations against them.

See...A is acceptable, even if the company doesn't fail.  B is Obama's seeming SOP, and is not.

for your assertion that the Department of Justice in the Obama Administration has not looked into or investigated any Wall Street financial transactions?

          •  he certainly had an opportunity to say (0+ / 0-)

we're looking into it. He was asked directly WHY HASN'T IT BEEN LOOKED INTO. When you don't contradict that statement but rather beat around the bush as to why it's so HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARD , it is safe to conclude, they aren't.
