They could have charged me $35 and didn't. That's never happened before!

OWS has had more of an impact on the national scene than the president or congress  have.

OWS does not take Wall Street money.

The president takes it in million dollar increments.  So does the congress.

We are important to the 1%.  The 1% get most of their money from us.  Their business model is sustainable only so long as they can fleece the working masses unhindered with the likes of 28% interest rates, inflated prices, depressed waages, no competition, special treatment, endless tax loopholes, soft law enforcement, etc. all thanks to a river of 'campaign donations' to our presidents and congresses...including the current occupants.

The proposed SEC settlement is the most recent example.  The one the judge just rejected for being too easy on Citigroup, unfair to the victims and not in the public interest.

At least the administration is getting tough in some places, like shutting down the medical marijuana dispensaries in northern California that are 100% legal under state law.

(And at least they were not involved in the often violent, nationally coordinated suppression of the OWS movement a few weekends back.   Right?)

    •  And Bank of America reversed $5 debit card fee. (0+ / 0-)
