"Maybe it's just me, but I sense a tide turning."

It's not just you. But we — as in progressives, in general — need to capitalize on the gains made in changing the national political narrative. It would be all too easy to let this slip out of our hands by wrangling over too many details at this stage. The time will come for that. For the moment, we should press our advantage.

the country but DC is yet to understand what they are in for. And our dems (blue dog) are just as horrible as the rethugs in not responding to that tide or to us. And even some who are NOT blue dog are in danger of losing their way in that Alice in Wonderland place.

We have to cement our gains with the country at large and make fun of the faux dipiction of the occupiers as "living in filth!"

I think we can do just that by quoting some of the things coming out of the Leveson inquiry in Britain. A very knowledgeable and well spoken fellow who had been both a journalist and a member of Blair's cadre pointed out in yesterday mornings testimony that Murdoch has an agenda and uses that agenda ruthlessly and without regard to any facts.

For some reason, none of what is happening in Britain is curling around Rupert like it should here in this country. The stench should be starting to make its presence known here pretty quick.
