    to death.

    But you still die.

I hope and pray to God that the Democratic Party isn't able to corral the Occupy Movement into its fold.

And for the record:  Rather than vote for a DINO, I'll not vote at all.

    A Rethuglican can be opposed.

A Democrat can't - because, well, we can't go after our own can we?  And besides, even if we bitch and moan, at the end of the day we're told to vote for them anyway.

    And they know it.

The safest way for the 1% to ensure there is NO CHANGE in the status-quo is to ensure that enough bankster-loving enabling DINOS are elected to ensure that no real opposition to the GOP materializes.

To Wit:  We have a Democratic Party.  Led by Barack Obama.  His actions speaks volumes about who he represents.

Obama has accomplished the following major strategic objectives for the 1%:

1 -- Opposition to his 1% friendly policies does not coalesce into an effective barrier (He's a Democrat!  What?  You want a Thuglican?  He's African American!  What are you, a closet racist?)

If Obama were an (R) his policies would have garnered enough opposition to pose a serious threat.

2 -- The GOP, at the end of 2008, was predicted to be a minority party for the next decade.  Obama, by ensuring the status quo continued, ensured their quick revival.

Wall Street relies on a two party duopoly in which one party is completely captured and the other has its leadership captured to such an extent it can never again act as a foil to the 1%.

The GOP is the "scary sword" of their policies;  The Dem "Leadership" is the "Shield", acting as a vent for dissatisfaction with GOP Policies while simultaneously ensuring such policies are not reversed by virtue of the leadership being captured by the 1%.

I will hammer the following as much as needed to break through the bullshit memes of Obama being powerless, taken advantage of, misguided, and a poor victim of GOP opposition:

1 -- Secret meetings with Pharma

2 -- Healthcare Reform based on Heritage Foundation which still prohibits government from negotiating prices with the corporate Drug Cartels  (maybe that secret meeting had a purpose?)

3 -- Bernanke  (same Wall Street loving thug, maintained in power thanks to Obama)

4 -- Geithner - another Wall Street loving thug, put in as Treasury Secretary by Obama

5 -- Holder - a corporate defense counsel tool who defended Chiquita against violations of the Patriot Act for giving money to death squads who just happened to murder troublemakers opposed to Chiquita's exploitation of indigenous peoples

6 -- Summers - an asshat racist SOB who, while at Harvard, went after the African American Studies department, Cornell West personally, and has publicly advocated for dumping toxic waste in Africa

7 -- JP Morgan Executive - Obama appointed a JP Morgan Bankster his Chief of Staff.  I'm sure said executive will be giving great advice and using his power to help the 99% /snark

8 -- Publicly called for renewal of the odious Patriot Act to "keep us safe" - in the face of opposition in Congress, Obama chose to use the bully pulpit to cajole its renewal.  Think about that for a minute.

9 -- Publicly defended Wall Street Predatory Thugs' compensation, at the height of Americans anger at them, by declaring these fucking thugs to be "Savvy Businessmen" who "Work Hard" for their "Success" - one of whom he even went to school with.  WTF.  WTF.

So our President publicly defends Wall Street against public anger?  Not only are they bailed out, sans strings, not only do they get to continue without Glass Steagal, not only do we not investigate them - but the President loves them so much he felt compelled to publicly defend their obscene salaries and bonuses?  Are You Fucking Kidding Me?!

10 -- Obama called for and got passed more Free Trade.  Yay!  More outsourcing opportunities for American Jobs.  Isn't that just fucking fantastic?  In the middle of a depression, our President calls for and passed more Free Trade that will cause further job loss.  Who benefits?  Oh yeah.  The 1% Predator Class.  HELLO?  Bueller?  Bueller?

11 -- Indefinite Detention of American Citizens.  Kill orders for American Citizens without trial.

12 -- Whistle Blowers anyone?  Bradley Manning.  How's he doing these days?

You want to know who uses the right tools for the job?
    Wall Street.

Congress drags Obama down just like my friends make me drink on weekends.

    •  So you're calling Obama a fool? (0+ / 0-)

Because anyone who lets their friends "make him drink" on weekends is surely a fool.

      •  Oh no. I would never be so kind as to say or (1+ / 0-)

imply that Obama is a fool.

Obama knows exactly what he is doing.

        Foolish, he is not.

What is foolish is when people buy into the meme of Obama's powerlessness, being led "astray" by ill-advice, or he can't do anything because the evil GOP opposes him.

Buying the powerless, "led astray", and stymied by the GOP memes is what's foolish.

Foolish would be repeating my mistake in 2008 and using my vote to help quash any true opposition against policies benefiting the predator class.

Foolish would be expecting someone who publicly praises Wall Street to do anything in opposition to the predator class' pro-1% policies.

Foolish would be maintaining faith that Obama really cares about jobs as a #1 priority in the face of his creating a Cat Food Commission and calling for More Free Trade Job Outsourcing deals.

Foolish would be expecting a change with respect to the government's intrusion on our civil rights when our party leader calls for renewal of King George's Patriot Act.

Foolish would be expecting Wall Street to be held accountable or investigated by the Department of Justice when Obama's Attorney General is a corporate counsel who has shown zero interest in pursuing a business sector from whence Obama appointed his Chief of Staff from.

Congress drags Obama down just like my friends make me drink on weekends.

      •  As for drinking... (0+ / 0-)

It would be foolish for anyone to believe I'm powerless and only drink because my friends make me.

Such an excuse would be about as believable as having faith that a President who selected his Chief of Staff from JP Morgan is actually opposed to Wall Street or has any interest whatsoever in reigning them in.

Sadly, I'm sure I could easily convince a sizable portion of the electorate that my drinking would lessen if only I was provided with more and better friends.

Congress drags Obama down just like my friends make me drink on weekends.
