    ever came around?  Before about 1972, no matter how politically radical some men were about everything else, we were blind to the subjugation of women simply because it was so pervasive as to seem normal.  Until women did the job of "consciousness raising," we had no clue that everything we were doing was so male-centric.

    Looking back is a real head-shaker so much of the time.
