    that doesn't meet the minimum threshold for a police state. just because you can't get to your inhaler for a few hours doesn't mean that the us is an authoritarian country.

      air conditioning system on bus to high, triggering asthma attacks in one or more wrist-tyed arrestees, then denies their repeated requests for access to their asthma inahlers? (This happened according to personal testimony from a released OLA arrestee.)

      Are we at a police state yet?

      Or does someone have to die while in police custody before we meet your threshhold? I'm curious exactly how much police abuse you personally are willing to tolerate being committed in your name before you concede that you with your voice are supporting a police state.
