    But he (the President) really should speak out against obvious incidents of uncalled for police violence against peaceful protesters (Scott Olsen's injury, the UC Davis pepper spray hosing, etc.)
       Violent suppression of folks trying to exercise their Constitutional Rights is obviously wrong, in-American, and inhumane.
      If Obama can condemn police violence in other nations, he most certainly can, and should, condemn it here.

      He doesn't need to join or even support the Occupy Movement. In fact, it's probably better for him not to. He does however need to do his sworn duty as POTUS, i.e., protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.
