    Taken to this conclusion states could pass legislation disenfranching people from state votes entirely.

    As long as the action was permitted under the state constitution, done by a duly-elected state legislature, and not in violation of the equal protection clause, it would be completely permissible for them to do that.

      Glad I left Michigan 19 years ago. I have zero desire to go back.

      It's a wash. A failed state.

      I just told my friend with a job offer to move there to pass and wait for a state that isn't circling the toilet.

        and I feel the same way.

        I've already told my folks that the only place that I would even consider moving to in Michigan is Ann Arbor...come to think of it, it's rather nice where most of my family lives (the northeast suburbs of Detroit). And I do have some relatives that live in Ann Arbor.
