    back when he was a mayor, there was an anti war protest held in his town. the police shot at peaceful protesters with wooden dowels.

    instead of denouncing the police, jerry brown praised them.

      see, here's where working in coalitions actually could help you.

      If OWS wants to see something done and said by the president, get someone of the caliber and the gravitas (gravitas given the situation of police brutality, that is) to call out the president.

      (i.e. I'd bet that if Al Sharpton called the president out, he's have some sort of response).

          find other activists (preferably black or Latino, as those are the populations that by far are more gravely affected by police brutality) that are willing to work with you and you work with them.
