    Rhone-Poulenc had bought about half the plant by then, including the MIC unit. I worked at Institute from early '87 to late '90 (and had another temp gig there in the Polyox unit in 1999-2000), so it wasn't terribly far in the past, but not a hot topic either. I do recall we really didn't want any blue light specials - they wouldn't have been the "Attention K-Mart shoppers...." kind. Flashing blue lights were part of the toxic gas release alarm system.
