The people of BC are opposed to the pipelines. However, I fear that now that TransCanada has agreed to find a new route through Nebraska that the Keystone XL is going to raise its ugly head again. It certainly is not dead.

The State Department put off the Keystone XL decision because of mounting pressure from lawmakers in Nebraska and from environmental groups that pleaded with the Obama administration not to allow the pipeline to traverse the delicate Sand Hills region of the state.

Soon afterward, the pipeline company, TransCanada, agreed to route the pipeline around the Sand Hills area. But the State Department has said it must nonetheless initiate a fresh environmental review process for any new route, a process that could take 12 to 18 months.

I must say that I was blown away by Ta'Kaiya Blaney, the 10 year old girl in the videos. She is simply amazing.

nationalize, or globalize, the entire fossil fuel industry. They're the only industry with sufficient resources to implement serious climate change remediation and they're also the biggest opponent because of their vested interest. But until we get their agenda under control and out of the way, we're never going to be able to address climate change in time and we may be too late already.
