    Democrats would pay for the costs by proposing cuts to non-health mandatory programs that were under consideration for reductions by the congressional supercommittee.

    Which non-health mandatory programs? Does anyone even know? Or is that just what some politician says today because they have to say something, but later when they cut it could be anything (or nothing)?

        That's why I read the Daily Kos: so I know what meaningless terms I should google.

        I used to read it because people actually knew what important deal points in major legislation meant, and could explain them. But now it's just an amen (or damn) chorus. That's probably why I don't read it much anymore.
