    "What they want to do with testing" is quite troubling, especially if it involves turning NAEP into a high-stakes test, which I believe is implied.

    And I understand the concerns for "some reauthorization" which have also been strongly endorsed by civil rights groups (who are mistaken, I believe -- but that's a whole other argument).

    Yes, I suppose it is important to note what these two agree on, even if it is for the sole purpose to conclude how abysmally poor our "leadership" on education is today.
