        This is a common personality trait that I see in my Hedge Fund acquaintances, the feeling that you are always right.

        But it isn't surprising since the people I knew at Princeton who went into your field were those most seriously lacking in empathy and compassion.  The rest of us decided to enter fields that actually contribute to society.

        Cue vague explanation about how you help optimally allocate capital and grease the wheels of innovation that I have to here every year at Reunions

          Based on both personal experience and actual evidence into the community service involvement of the financial sector, I sincerely doubt you have many, if any, such acquaintances.  That you'd make up something so patently false just to cast aspersions reveals a great deal about your own character.

          I don't need a vague explanation.  You want a world without traders?  Move to the woods and go feral.
