    they pity, despise, and recruit.

it's still a big big problem, though.

We keep electing whores to congress, and we wonder why we get screwed while the money flows to their pimps.

    •  What I really intended was "dehumanize" but (5+ / 0-)

it wouldn't all fit in the subject line. And I'd stand by that one: If your religion requires that you dehumanize a portion (ANY portion) of humanity, your religion's got big problems.

People like the poor, persecuted "victim" like to overlook that fact that religious freedom is subject to limitations. For example, if your religion told you that it was okay to kill certain kinds of people on sight, that wouldn't fly in court no matter how fervently you believed it.

      •  "Dehumanize" is the key word. (4+ / 0-)

Whoever "they" are, "they" steal our jobs, control our information and money supply, subvert society, threaten our values, indoctrinate our children, and spread their cultural disease just like vermin. Then like a disease they need to be quarantined, and like vermin they need to be exterminated.

In Germany the propaganda mill moved rapidly from derision to disgust to violence and finally the death camps. Once you get to the animal and disease metaphors, you know you're on the fast chute toward Nazism.
