  •  When I worked at Macy's every Christmas season (4+ / 0-)

for years, (up to about 15 years ago) I usually worked women's clothing. We were reminded that a husband who wanted to accompany his wife into the dressing room may be doing so because she needed help getting in and out of clothes.

We were supposed to smile and open the door for the both of them. Obviously, he wasn't to wander around in the common area. But the point is, you don't know what someone's situation is. So you smile, keep your opinions to yourself, and just be aware of what's going on in your dressing room.... which, the latter is part of your job anyhow. So what's the big deal?

So if you get hit by a bus tonight, would you be satisfied with how you spent today, your last day on earth? Live like tomorrow is never guaranteed, because it's not.
