    But, sure, when discussing sports coverage it is completely reasonable to set aside anything to do with actual or hypothetical accomplishments.

        But I think it is also fair to say that he would still be garnering attention among sports journalists, at this point, even if he were not a loud Christian.

        Precisely because of the odd manner in which he has helped his team to win.

      have won 19 straight games - 3X as many as Tebow - the last 2 of the 2010 season, 3 playoff games, the Super Bowl, and 13 games this season - they're still undefeated this year.

      But Rodgers doesn't flaunt his religion, so I had to look up the details, rather than having them available all over the media.
