I have you on my stream....

This is what I think about. My grandfather used to tell me how they rationed certain foods during WWII...we were asked to consume less of certain foods and goods so our troops would have enough...Yes, people could buy only so much sugar, so much meat, so much gasoline.

Well, we did it then for the troops, and we can do it now for the planet....

I have reduced my meat consumption by about 75%..I've said 3-4 days a week are meatless. But that's not the full picture. On the meat days, it is just 1 meal and I have less portion...

It is hard for people. We are used to foods we like. Also people who work are all worn out and don't have energy to cook. Finally, the subsidies are out of whack so it has gotten cheaper to eat poorly than healthy.

But nobody said doing our part to solve this would ask nothing from us..If you look at world crisis, they aren't solved without people working together

At this point, far more people have now been arrested for protesting Wall Street's mortgage fraud crimes than have been for committing and presiding over them.

In fact Meatless Monday was started in WWI to make it possible to send more rations to the troops.  It was revived in WWII and the US even used the surplus to feed the starving Europeans!   We all have to pull together for this fight to save the planet.  I wish more thought like you.
