  •  Funny - they dominate the most democratic branch (0+ / 0-)

I would think Republicans would be more fond of democracy than the Dems these days - after all the best electoral measure of the people's intent is the makeup of the House of Representatives.  As it is up for election every 2 years and covers every state in the union.

Are you saying, because you are such a big supporter of Democracy that the Senate should have been entirely up for grabs in the 2010 elections as well?

If it had there is very little doubt the Repubs would hold majorities in both houses of Congress.

    •  if you think Republicans actually "earn" (0+ / 0-)

their way to elective are sadly mistaken...they purchase their way to office, by kowtowing and prostituting themselves endlessly to the filthy rich one-tenth of one-percent of the electorate. The only reason Republicans are competitive is because they have massive amounts of money from the rich whom they have prostituted themselves to purchase themselves political office. It is their obvious objective to try to ensure they can continue to purchase political offices more easily in the future by deliberately attempting to disenfranchise as many people as possible and to intimidate as many potential voters as possible.
