    I think I wasn't clear. If a problem happens 1 in a 1,000 times, and you try it 10,000 times, then you are likely to see 100 problems. So you aren't really protected by remote chances, since you're having lots of attempts. The industry argument about rare events isn't particularly convincing because of this.

      Sounded like a right-wing talking point, and we've had plenty of industry shills posting here to make that a real possibility.
