    if the economy hadn't tanked.  Abolishing insurance jobs didn't seem wise during a time when we were losing zillions of jobs every month.

    Republicans have the 1% vote locked up.

      so we'll allow a worse than useless segment of our economy, that sucks the real economy dry and provides death instead of healthcare, to stay alive to keep some people employed?

      These kind of arguments are intellectually similar to worrying about what the poor Nazi guards will do if we shut down the concentration camps.  How will the guards feed their families?  Geez people, be careful about making people unemployed!

      I'm not saying that's your rationale, I am saying that such a rationale is rather flawed.
