  •  Are these GOP idiots ready.... (10+ / 0-)

...to be portrayed as the party that puts Grover Norquist, ideology, and millionaire donors over the rest of us? I hope there are lots of boxes of tissues ready for John Boehner's use when he learns that his party has lost control of the House during next November's elections.

Because our side will fold, like it has every time in the recent past.

And, by conceding on this, Dems will be giving up what they really need--to show the Repubs for the cruel bastards they are and thus take back the House in 2012.

      Sad...and a self-inflicted wound, so sadder still....

...at which point it would be much harder to portray the GOP in this way.

Let's hope that the GOP is betting the wrong side of this proposition.

...and based on his response, he REALLY blew it.

        •  So according to Weepy the Clown... (0+ / 0-)

it's not a concession because it didn't have enough votes? Maybe someone should point out to Orangeglo that the shitty Bill that his disfunctional House passed has no chance of becoming law...like practically every Bill passed under his "leadership". Boner knows his days are numbered. Problem is that his Brutus Cantor still thinks that if he keeps up the Tea Potty bullshit he'll somehow get to hold that giant mallet when it looks more like the party of NO will be back in the minority after next year.

      •  Recent experience would say "no". (2+ / 0-)

Dems have caved on virtually everything to date when negotiating.

    •  The answer... (0+ / 0-)
to be portrayed as the party that puts Grover Norquist, ideology, and millionaire donors over the rest of us?

      is a resounding YES!

The gop is on the wrong side of just about every issue. Public polls be damned. The gop could care less. They are accustomed to carrying water for the 1% and its getting easier every day.

30% of the US population will vote gop no matter if a syphillitic corpse is nominated, as long as it aint a librul.

75% of the US population is permanently impaired. That doesnt leave many logical, reasonable people to reach in elections.

2012 will be the single ugliest election in the history of the planet. Sad thing is, its hardly worth the fight.
