On the one hand, I decidedly DO NOT like the overt fearmongering, which I think is obvious. OWS and the protests in the middle east are explicitly non-violent. They have been very disciplined about non-violence, and have kept their cool in the face of egregious provocation by the police. ALL of the violence to date has been perpretrated against the protestors, by the authorities.

On the other hand, anyone who sees this, particularly politicians and members of the 1%, will get a sharp, shocking reminder of what's potentially at stake. Hopefully we won't go there. Hopefully nobody wants to go there, especially our political leaders and members of the 1%. Hopefully at some point the lights will go on, and we will not continue along what could become a very dark road.

    We hope.

The invasion of Iraq was a war crime, a crime against humanity, and a crime against civilization. Prosecute the crime.
