that it is this fact that fuels a good deal of Paul support, particularly among the Occupy movement. Look who seems to be out to get Paul, and it starts looking like he's the guy to vote for.

If the GOP establishment laughs at him and says he can't win, I get that. But when the GOP establishment joins forces with supposedly progressive Obama advocates to attack him, that's a different story.

That's where I am on this article. I live in South Carolina, and voting in the Democratic Primary would be an exercise both in futility and, in the case of Obama, a vote of confidence I'm not willing to cast. The general election is a different story, but I don't see the harm in supporting Ron Paul in the GOP primaries because 1) the Republicans hate him even worse than the oh-so-sensitive Democrats that can't stand his "racism" and 2) if he won, it would prevent someone that would use the power of the Federal government to institute genuine Christo-fascism from being the nominee. Paul might turn it back to the states, which, living in South Carolina, home of America's most corrupt state government, gives me the willies, I admit; but I like the general idea of devolving power to the people, and I sure as hell haven't seen that happening under establishment Democratic OR Republican administrations in my lifetime.

      crossovers too.
It gets you on the rescumlican mailing lists (until you go D again). Which gets you some amazing reading material (if you can stomach it). At least you get an idea of what they're up to, or what their masters want them to 'think' about anyway.
