Salvage workers plucked a 970,000 pound cylinder from the Cherry Point Aquatic Reserve west of Ferndale Wednesday afternoon.

B.P. Cherry Point spokesperson Bill Kidd says the 140-foot by 12-foot reactor is part of their $400-million project to make cleaner diesel fuel, but it was dropped into the water as it was being delivered to the refinery on December 9th.

    Splash!

I bet there are a couple of Octopii in there somewhere, some worker will get a big surprise.

Hey Yas, great huge pile o' stuff. Good-o for you!
