  •  Ok you want to go down the silly road... (0+ / 0-)

    Let's do that...

What does being detained matter when you can't breathe the air, will die due to minor illnesses caused by lack of clean water and or food, don't have any money to buy shelter, your life is in constant danger from roving gangs and criminals, some corporation decides you are an undesirable and blacklists you.

    Shall I go on?

You are not safer under Ron Paul unless you happen to live in Teheran or Kabul. Then you might be (and you only might be).

Why would be detained in the first place?

OH... and the Patriot Act which was extended by President Obama was put into place by.... REPUBLICANS. You know the party that Ron Paul is part of...

    So you are saying.

I replied a lengthy reply, apparently it got moderated out.

The issues you raised would only be valid to think about when your life is not in jeopardy directly. You may be safe to think about these issues, but thanks to Obama, and neocons, I am not.

Obama is much worse than Bush, Bush only detained US citizen, but was challenged, while Obama can kill without being challenged.

I am confident I would be safer under Ron Paul, as he was the only one protesting in congress against three US citizen killed by Obama without trial (and they happened to be non-white and non-christian, talk about racism huh?).

      •  First of all your comment did not get (1+ / 0-)

"moderated out" that is not how things work on this site. You have to push the Preview button and then Post. If you move away from the comment, it erases.

Second of all, you did not answer my question of "Why would you be detained?" and now I would add "How is your life in jeopardy?".

        •  Under NDAA, detained if President doesn't like you (0+ / 0-)

Due process rights have been deeply undermined in this country.  We haven't had a psychopath actually use them, but the language on the books shows that all citizen's freedom hangs by a thread.

REPUBLICANS. Yes, President Obama signed off on that but exactly why would you trust a Republican to change that? Paul, is a Republican - you do realize that, right?

Anyway, I can't help that hassanm says his life is in danger from this and that he will be detained but he won't answer when I ask why.

But in any case, I am wondering why he says what he does.
