    Canada is a cultural mosaic, definitely not a melting pot.

      I was born & raised in your neighbor to the east, Quebec, & I concur.
      I`m a little piece of that mosaic, as are all other Canadians, just a little bit different one from the other but all part of the whole. All individual pieces

      I`m already against the next war.

          Montreal, my lovely city.
          I spent my college years there but was born 135 miles north of Quebec City in a town that has now ceased to exist, so now I`m from nowhere.
          I do retain all my memories though.
          In Montreal I lived in The Ghetto for years. The sixties.
          I spent time in every province in Canada but Newfoundland.
          Most of my travels in Canada were done by hitchhiking.
          I also spent many seasons in Southern Ontario as a migrant worker, picking tobacco, tomatoes, then apples, living in abandoned old farmhouses with my migrant group.
          What a life, & the experiences will never ever be forgotten.

          I`m already against the next war.
