just shell out for new Elizabeth George book, to be released Jan. 10.  She is speaking here at indie book store and my purchase entitles me to a reserved seat.

reserved seat for her talk and the fact that you have a local indie book store. Please let us know what she has to say.

She is a past winner of the Agatha and the Anthony Awards.

I have pre-ordered her new book, and am looking forward to it.  It has been a year since I read This Body of Death, and although I enjoyed it, I didn't think it was as good as some of her earlier work.

can't wait.  I just love the Inspector Lynley series...but am still outraged by the two different versions of the murder of Lynley's version by Elizabeth George and the other version in the TV series. I searched but cannot find a reasonable explanation for why the TV series episode differed from the author's tale.

Am so jealous you will be able to see/hear her in person. If you get a chance, ask her why the differing  If there is any way, please send me a private message to summarize her talk....would be extremely interested! Thanks.

Except for the last two episodes, I have the Lynley series on DVD and have watched them twice now.  They're fantastic, but not as fantastic as being in the middle of a big, fat Elizabeth George book.
