Many of us have transcendent experiences – I did myself, when climbing Diamond Head last month, but the only revelation I received is that I need to go to Hawaii more often.

On a more serious note, the Anglican split really wasn't just that Henry wanted a divorce. The English translation of the bible predated that by two centuries, English reformers inspired the Hussites, and there were laws reflecting a rejection of papal authority that go back to the Magna Carta. Henry was just the decisive, final split (well, final except for Mary's five years).

Is it true? Is it kind? Is it necessary? . . . and respect the dignity of every human being.
