Over half the delegates are in winner take all primaries after April 1. Somebody is going to have a majority by the convention, especially since the low hangers are dropping out now.

    •  Then it will really all be about Super Tuesday. (1+ / 0-)

And THAT in turn is about who has $$$.

But Santorum paid $1.65 per vote in Iowa while Romney paid $113 per vote.

Happy little moron, Lucky little man.

    •  I thought the GOP changed from winner take all to (0+ / 0-)

proportional? Was that only certain primary states?

    •  i disagree (0+ / 0-)

Paul has the money and the volunteer enthusiasm to hang on, and if Santorum picks up the evangelical money they could split the pre-April delegates three ways.

That, along with the fact that so many in the Republicon base despise Romney, could keep Romney from going into the convention with a majority.

    •  With a %50 threshold (0+ / 0-)

If no one gets %50+ then it stays proportional.
