    I think Murphoney's demurring is indicative of confirmation bias, however.

    It is, actually, "bold", because while the Senate is functionally in recess, it technically is NOT, and a large legal fight is going to ensue (and the usual histrionics from the conservatives itching for a new civil war will be ugly). Obama has thrown down a gauntlet that will result in a very pitched battle. And it's one that we need to join him in fighting if we're going to win it and keep Cordray in the position to which he was just appointed.

    And we also need to show him we have his back on this so he can fill the vacancies in the NLRB and other agencies.

      ...that Obama can do no right is accusing them of ODS, so yeah, you very much did say something about it.

        ODS, then sure, okay. I defined it as the belief that Obama is actively seeking to do harm to the country.

        But that being the case, I also did NOT apply the description to Murphoney, so you're still off base.
