    It's amazing how education "reformers" have managed to subvert the meaning of the word "reform" (see the "right or wrong" problem here).  It's all about privatization and stealing money from the public trough, as all of your citations show.

    All it takes is security in your own civil rights to make you complacent.

      your part. I am becoming more convinced that NCLB is the biggest sham ever created in the name of public education. Further, while I am an Obama supporter I have always differed with regard to his education policies and have been very kritical of them.(critical with a "k" is signals the depth of my concern about current national education policies.)
