Okay, not to start a pie fight,

but would anyone here now say we want to prop up Paul Ryan as a candidate for . . . anything because he agrees with us on this?

Or that his voice is sorely needed on this issue so we'll ignore his odious overall world view?

    Just sayin'

Why is it that a 3% tax increase for the wealthy is considered "socialism" and an 8% wage cut for the middle class is "doing your part"? MartyM

at jokingly equating this situation with the whole "Ron Paul should stay in the race/be listened to/etc., because he agrees with us on the NDAA.

        sorry.

    •  Is this a democracy? (0+ / 0-)

The point of her article is that SOPA is a terrible proposal, and it has bipartisan opposition.  Her call to action is this:

If you haven't yet contacted your representative or senators about this legislation, please do. You can use this form to send an e-mail to your representative, and this one to contact your Senators. This is one of those rare occasions in which it doesn't matter if you're represented by a Democrat or Republican—opposition to this one is widespread and bipartisan and needs to grow.

Some of us here are represented by Republicans, others by Democrats.  Those who are represented by the former have an additional point they can add when they contact their representatives by indicating that GOP reps such as Ryan and Issa are against SOPA.  It shows that opposition to SOPA is not limited to party.
