many of the Republican nurses in my own union who supported Scott Walker despite the fact that he was demanding multiple contract concessions every year when he was Milwaukee County Executive continued to support him.  Somehow, they never blamed him.  They shifted their blame to the County Board, to people not paying their taxes, to the money spent on "welfare for those lazy people", etc.  Never him.  And they thought their union sucked, too, and was "stealing their money" for dues.

So....they stepped up and voted him in as Governor and crowed loudly when he won.

Then came February of this year when he put out his Budget Repair Bill that ultimately stripped them of their unions and outright stole about 20% of their paychecks in payments for the benefits they received.

Oh, the shock from all of them.  They ran to the union they despised demanding action.  They joined the protests.  They proclaimed loudly they had been tricked into supporting Walker.  You could feel their outrage.  And on and on.

The rest of us snickered quietly.  How Republican of them to ignore things until they, themselves were effected.

    Blowback is a bitch.

There already is class warfare in America. Unfortunately, the rich are winning.
