  •  Well done, fellow hockey fan. (4+ / 0-)

We have an AHL team here in Portland, ME, which means I can actually afford to go to hockey games (when I lived in Boston it was nearly impossible to afford) AND I can get great seats. There's nothing like being in the third row near centre ice!

I hate to admit it, but I like the fights in hockey. "If there's no blood, it's not Hockey".

Interesting analogy to politics, though. Congrats on the diary.

I'm a pacifist when it comes to war, and  when it comes to hockey, sorry, but it's a blood sport. I love to see those young guys beat each other up. Maybe I better not say anything more about that...LOL.

But seriously, I love the GAME, and the pace, and the teamwork of it all, the way everyone covers each other's butts, so to speak, even when a teammate makes a really stupid move. Plus it's one of the only sports (besides soccer) where I'm likely to be able to show off the fact that I know all the words to "O Canada". ;)
