    until manufacturing starts up here again in this country, it can't go up the learning curve required to assemble (eventually) quality and reliable equipment. Not only does this plant need to open, it needs to STAY open, and it needs to do so for several years, or else steal a lot of engineering/industrial design talent from overseas. I hate to type this, as all these industries started here in America, and now we need to stand them up again in America, but, there you go. Every great baseball player had to start in L:ittle League, don'tcha know.

      If you make crap, you get a reputation for making crap and you won't stay open.  High quality is a barrier to entry these days.  The expertise is out there, you just have to hire it.
