  •  O'Keefe claims he violated no laws (5+ / 0-)

and exposed voter fraud in multiple districts.  Red meat for wingers now calling for universal voter ID.  O'Keefe claimed he coached his allies on exactly how to word their request to ensure there was no fraud.  So do we have a conspiracy here by his own admission or O'Keefe practicing law w/o a license?
Here is the winger take on the matter

    •  They took legal advice from O'Keefe? (6+ / 0-)

They should be locked up for being morons.

If Obama doesn't deserve credit for getting Bin Laden because he didn't pull the trigger, then Bin Laden doesn't deserve the blame for 9-11 because he didn't fly the planes.

    •  So his defense is dependent on what the meaning (0+ / 0-)

      of the word "is" is?

      •  exactly but Bill at least was a lawyer (3+ / 0-)

his providing a script to his cohorts would seem to either be his dispensing legal advice w/o license, unless he had himself previously consulted an attorney, or, failing that, would indicate a conspiracy on his part.

late update is NH AG is reviewing the film to determine if any laws were broken.  I think O'Keefe may be shocked to discover that his parsing of language is not an effective defense (much like a bank robber who flashed a .45 but remains silent is not innocent of bank robbery because he never made a demand and the teller spontaneously gave him the money)

        •  Yes. I for one thought it was clever. (0+ / 0-)

But then I always thought he never should have been asked the question.

          I certainly hope so.
