court. Everything is a conspiracy in that case. In case you haven't noticed, folks have been tortured by the police in the occupy movement when they weren't breaking any laws.

Authoritarian that believes all laws, ordinances, statutes, and other regulations are automatically Constitutionally Valid.  They will are argue that you can't fucking breath in public without someone giving you permission.  Ignore them Scorpiorising, you will run the conversation all the way over to the right of the screen with this one.

I am positive the coffeetalk would be just fine with a cop walking up to you and telling you that you aren't allowed to look at him.  Cop's orders you know.

So much BS "law" has been tried in the last few months, and dismissed, it's getting ridiculous.

Some local statutes are not Constitutional.  When you don't have the right to even speak your fucking mind anymore - then this isn't America.  It's time to return that right to The People.  Authoritarians be DAMNED.

defend these ridiculous charges yet I heard her scoff at the notion that police were torturing some of the protesters. Life really is a test of values...isn't it.

profession, or their sphere of influence - to see the Forest with all those trees in the way.

Our liberties have been stomped on repeatedly.  We can sit around and take it because some obscure ordinance makes it so, or we can rely on what our ancestors left for us to go by - the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights, most importantly, the First Amendment.

These violations are not going unheeded.  The People are in the streets, and if some Louisiana Lawyer wants to argue law with you - you will lose.  Thank goodness there are people that can plainly see right from wrong.

It's about time to make things right again.  We have to do it ourselves, if we aren't going to get help from those who swore an oath to.

We are the Patriots.  Dissent is inherently Patriotic.  We The People are the ultimate authority in America - all else are servants under the laws of our nation.  I have a document that makes that quite clear.

Here's a link to the wiki on that document.

And here's a primer on what to do when the set of documents above is no longer respected by those that would try to rule us.

thoughts. I will check it out. I needed to hear tonight exactly what you said. Thanks again.

            •  You, my compatriot, are as American as it gets ;). (0+ / 0-)

Just because there is a law or ordinance, does not mean same is Constitutionally valid - it simply hasn't been challenged as such yet.  Even a lawyer can tell you that, and believe me, I understand the law, right down to the fine detail, I am surrounded by attorneys, government officials, and the like.  Some are authoritarians by nature, others question the value of certain laws.  It takes balls to challenge such a law, and you have to be willing to fight the fight all the way to the Supreme Court to see justice sometimes.  Governors, Mayors, Cops, Attorneys, sometimes make this stuff up as they go along.  We assume they are correct because they are in a position of authority - hence Authoritarians.  They are not always correct - but sometimes they are.  It takes knowledge, study, and plain old curiosity to sort through wrong from right sometimes.  Our laws are complicated - and many.

That said, always remember, NO ONE is above the law - even our President, and our Congresscrittters.

I have your back.  Keep up the argument Patriot.
