    •  Your HR is still there (0+ / 0-)

in spite of several reminders referencing the source of the diarists allegations.

      •  I'm going to try to explain this again. (1+ / 0-)

The diarist has clearly documented the bussing with supporting evidence.  However, the diarist attributes the bussing to the mayor based purely on conjecture with NO supporting evidence.  That is hr worthy.

        •  I'm sorry, but you have chosen (7+ / 0-)

to dismiss his supporting evidence.  Now if you want to say that you don't believe it, so be it.  If you have information that would dispute his reporting, then spit it out.

          Otherwise, this is pointless.

And this is coming from a person who NEVER AGREES WITH BETTY PINSON.

          Let it go.

You can let that HR stand at your own risk.

            •  Here's a quote from the 4th link in the diary (13+ / 0-)
Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel (left) and CPS "Director of Faith Based Initiatives" (at $82,000 per year) Reynaldo Kyles. At the August 25, 2011, breakfast for Chicago preachers at Sox Park, Emanuel and Kyles urged the preachers to make the subject of the "Longer School Day" part of their Sunday sermons and to sign the preacher petition on behalf of the longer school day. On September 8, 2011, Rahm Emanuel told the Chicago City Council that the signatures on the petition were proof that Chicago's citizens wanted the longer school day, while outside bus loads of rented protesters were carrying signs saying "90 more minutes and two more weeks." Substance photo by George N. Schmidt.

This in and of itself is despicable - utilizing "faith-based-initiatives" to privatize education.

There's none so blind that will not see.

          •  The Hiderater is clearly (0+ / 0-)

            a fan of Rahm's.

        •  Political thuggery shares many traits with (8+ / 0-)

organized crime thuggery. There is almost never a paper trail. In today's environment of nonexistent journalism, getting the top guy with the goods is almost always impossible, unless a high level lieutenant decides to commit political suicide, or is indicted for doing something that is not only disgusting but is truly illegal and is forced to testify. Or the whole organization starts to crumble. Clearly, nothing like that is happening (yet) in Chicago.

So, we're left with circumstantial evidence. There's quite a bit of that here, but perhaps the most damning of all is the silence of the Mayor. You'd think that if paying for fake protestors and busing them in was being done without his knowledge, especially if it was being done against his wishes, he'd have something to say about it. Particularly someone with a mouth like Rahm's.

        •  You've made a complete spectacle of yourself (8+ / 0-)

          in these comments.

Your attempt to attack the messenger and deflect attention by posting a bunch of comments at the top of the diary reflects badly upon you and Rahm.
