    . . .Supreme Court!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With the three diots, Thomas, Scalia and Roberts, now shaping the public sphere in complete opposite of the words of the Constitution, this country will feel the adverse affects for many, many decades at the very least. With the upcoming health care hearings we will get to see Roberts come down ideologically against it while at the very same time being recipient of hundreds of thousands of dollars through his wife of insurance company "bribe money". We have already seen Scalia pontificate about the "one way" nature of the separation of church and state. completely ignoring the important and counter writings of Madison and Jefferson. And all three have weighed in on the ridiculous "Citizens United" ruling, the worse S>C> decision in modern history.

We cannot allow any of these present loony Republican candidates to appoint another Supreme Court Justice: this is vital!

    •  Election is about multiple 'things' ... (0+ / 0-)

And, well, look at polling and American's thinking -- science is truthful in terms of stark difference, isn't understood by the vast majority of the populace, and matters to many.  Do you think this is true re Supreme Court?

And, well, Democratic Party should be pushing hard to be clear on a number of wedge issues that differentiate the two parties. I am happy to add Supreme Court to that list.

      •  you chose the title. . . (0+ / 0-)

. . ."this election is about science". You're right. It's a very, very important issue. The Supreme Court, I believe, is the larger of the two issues. Because if they get the Supreme Court the Conservative half-wits want, that Supreme Court will rule against every single thing that could possibly aid in war for science.

Don't believe me? Just look into the eyes of Roberts, Thomas and Scalia. These are very scary times.
