Well sir I'd prefer not to be homeless myself.

This is no knock on you believe me but one can look at a glass as half empty or half full right?

In my case the glass is over half full. I have a job. I have my house and I have my wife and dog.
I also have an idiot boss and somewhat idiotic co workers.

I have the opportunity to observe stupidity as well. It makes me think and thinking is a good thing.

Thinking is something that evades people that I observe at times it would seem.
Oft times these are people higher in the "food chain" in any particlar business.

Sometimes "working for the man" can be a useful thing (especially if you're hungry).

Only by "working for the man" can one see how it really works, what is wrong, what are the weaknesses and assess how to correct same.

It sucks but that's how it works IMHO. I have a high tolerance for idiocy so I learn every day.

Blanket statements are for IDIOTS until the IDIOT in question can back it up.

idiocy, otherwise it will eat you alive! You seems like a pretty pragmatic guy mrhoosierdeb! mrgoo has been taking a little more interest in the KOS but I don't think he'll ever be up for an account. He's having far too much fun dogging the folks that are advocating turning our delta into a swamp on the newspaper web sites. For an old mechanic, he is getting much better at internet research and I caught him today referencing his new "bible" - Cadillac Desert in order to refute a bullsheeite argument.

"We're here to start a dialog, nothing more. We keep quiet and let the press, the politicians, and the Wall Streeters hang themselves." From a veteran protester in the civil rights days at Liberty Park. h/t to pistols at dawn.
