    Mitt, so far as we know, is simply reporting his income and deductions and paying the correct tax rate for the type of income he has...that's not "evasion" by any stretch. It's the law that's wrong...everyone else who makes that much money from investments pays the same rate he does (unless they actually hide income, which would be "evasion").

    Now maybe if Mitt were a super nice guy he's be donating tens of millions to pay down the national debt, but he is not legally obligated to. It's the law that screwy...and what's really screwy is that candidate Mitt is pledging to lower his taxes even more, and GOP voters don't seem to have a problem with that because all the other GOP candidates are pledging the same thing.

      …is always unethical (spirit of the law and morality) and is sometimes illegal (letter of the law).

      If Mittens is donating tens of millions to anything, it's to the LDS, and such fun things as the campaign to overturn Prop 8 in CA.
