    When you think about it, this could really be his moment.  If he wants to make a difference, now is the time.  IMO the only good reason for him to not run is if he thinks that no one can beat Walker, or if he thinks that Kind, Barrett, Obey, etc would actually be stronger candidates.  

    Also, all the times he has denied interest, we didn't even know if the signature drive would succeed.  He would have egg on his face if he openly talked about running, only to have the petition drive fail.  1 million signatures might change his thought process.

      Feingold is smart and was always well liked among Wisconsin D's, he's also reliable and he wouldn't throw a wrench into everything by going back on his word that he was staying out. A lot of his backers in the state establishment have probably already recalculated and made commitments to other candidates. He'd put a lot of people in an awkward spot if he jumped in now, and he's just not the sort of person who'd do that.

      Besides he seems sick of politics to me, which he has every right to be. I think he's just done.
