    I wonder what accounts for the differences between the information from each of the various "aggregate" sources on this?

    ...& BTW, the fact that the filibuster was essentially killed off in the '70s (in favor of the cloture vote) largely explains why Senate "gridlock" has become so much more common & politically inexpensive compared to several decades ago.

    That said, though, the reading of opponent's names that Ron Wyden, Ron Paul, & others have planned to do on the floor comes as close to a classic bar-the-door, blue-in-the-face, D.C. phonebook filibuster as us "young whippersnappers" are ever likely to see.
