    It strikes me that most of the criticisms are related to domestic issues. So what if the constitution loses in May on issues that are related to Chirac and the current government. By the time Chirac is replaced everyone will be happy, a new vote will say yes, and France will again be happily European. Yes, it will slow the adoption of the constitution, but that't no big deal is it?

    I don't recall seeing this, but could you tell me how the European Constitution supposed to be amended when amendments must be made?
