  •  There's half a generation of kids who (7+ / 0-)

don't know how screwed up Gingrich is.

I think people - even those of us who are jaded at this point - should review the history.  I just read the 2010 Esquire article about him and the update the author posted yesterday.  I had forgotten all about Bob Livingston - and it seems that he is working on Gingrich's campaign now.  Oh how the rats like to run in packs.

Anyway, this link will take you to several avenues that lead to Memory Lane:

His ex-wife is speaking out because she thinks he's too unstable to be President and too corrupt.  I think many people know that, but maybe it is important that people really meditate on the idea of a volatile, delusional, dysfunctional personality becoming the Commander-in-Chief.

that he actually gets the nom (unlikely, IMO), we'll have such a good time educating those younguns! And I'm willing to bet that Newtie will do half the work himself .

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."........ "The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little." (yeah, same guy.)

to a major extent, invented modern congressional politics.  We're living in the system he dreamed up.

I want to limit the power of government. Specifically, I want to limit the power of government to create artificial superpeople and give them the same rights as human beings.

in the '90s? He was a disgrace as speaker.

      •  Yes - and I was tempted to cheer (0+ / 0-)

when Santorum brought that up at last night's debate.

The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy... the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.
